AdSense has just released new Ad Links ad formats, that run in a horizonal ad unit, as opposed to the current “cube” vertical format they have served since they launched Ad Links in March.
The new ad units are either 468×15 (banner width) or 728×15 (leaderboard width) and publishers can include either four ad links or five ad links in either style.
The new Ad Links look like:
I suspect we will see plenty of publishers running these directly underneath banners and leaderboards.

BTW I noticed you’re doing the Run for the Cure. You go girl! My wife, who is just 29-years-old, has been fighting stage IV cancer for nearly three years…we’ve done multiple races, and even the Breast Cancer 3-day (walking 60-miles in 3 days. Brutal!)
Thank you so much for doing the race. I’m always touched by people who really go out of their way to help. This disease is horrendous…it has stolen far too much from me.
