Publishers in Australia and New Zealand receive missing AdSense earnings due to exchange rate error

Date January 15, 2008

If you are a New Zealand or Australian AdSense publisher that was owed money from November earnings (checks sent at the end of December) you should have received the difference owed, according to AdSensePro. Publishers in those countries received payments with the currency exchange rate inverted, meaning publishers were shorted earnings in their last checks.

I’ve gotten word that publishers affected by this issue have received
any payments due, so I’m going to go ahead and unpin this thread.

Please feel free to post or contact AdSense support if you have any
further issues related to this.

Thanks everyone,
Jordan

If you have not received the earnings, you should contact AdSense support about the issue.

I am pleased that Google resolved this issue fairly quickly and did not make publishers wait until the next payment cycle. Hopefully this error will not happen again!

Wow, who would have thought an exchange rate issue could happen in this business considering everything is so automated.
